Level 3 – Certification: Accounting Technician (NQF 3)

Do you have a firm understanding of numbers, a passion for accounting, or the desire to run your own business? This qualification covers a range of basic accounting practices and techniques; from costing and double-entry bookkeeping to computerised accounting. It’s ideal if you’re new to working in finance or you if are looking to expand and develop your foundation knowledge and skills.

Level 4 – FET Certificate: Accounting Technician (NQF 4)

The Level 4 qualification is the second level of the AT(SA) Accounting Qualification. It introduces you to more complex accounting tasks, such as maintaining cost accounting records and the preparation of reports and returns. This course is perfect if you’ve completed Level 3, or you’re already at a more intermediate level and looking to develop existing accounting skills.

Level 5 – Certificate: Accounting (NQF 5)

The level 5 qualification is the third level of the AT(SA) Accounting Qualification and covers higher level accounting tasks, including drafting financial statements, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance. You’ll also have the opportunity to specialise in areas from tax to auditing and credit control.
